Ouzoud Waterfalls
Morocco's highest falls (110 m): rainbows, olive groves and Barbary macaques.
The Ouzoud Waterfalls, 110 metres high, are the most spectacular in Morocco. The water tumbles down several tiers in a setting of olive trees, often crowned with rainbows.
You walk down to the foot of the falls on a shaded path, meet wild Barbary macaques along the way, and can take a boat right up to the curtain of water.

Can Ouzoud be done in a day?
Yes, as a day trip from Marrakech, about two and a half hours' drive, or as a stop on the way to the Middle Atlas.
When is the flow strongest?
In spring, after the snowmelt. Summer is still fine and the flow drops: we tell you before we set the date.
